Mac OS 10.3.9 – DreamCheeky Support for USB Rocket Launcher 29 December 2006

I’ve been away for a few days and while I was away I had the opportunity to create a version of the USB Missile Launcher software that works under Mac OS 10.3.9 and supports the DreamCheeky Rocket Launcher.

I need to package the release (in the next day or two) and make it available for download. I will update this post when it is ready.

[31 December 2006] Update: There is a holdup with the release of the software. Sorry. My development machine has been crashing and I’ve spent some considerable time investigating the reason as to why. Looks like the video card in my eMac (basically the motherboard) is toasted!

It’s all rather nasty. The log below isn’t mine (it is all but identical to mine though).

hello.
are you sure that the log you posted is an indication of a toasted motherboard? i have the same kernel…and then atiradeon overflow message on an ibook g4 that keeps freezing. thanks for any help, mike.

Hi Mike…

The Motherboard on my eMac was replaced under extended apple warranty repair programme. And you’ve seen on the web site the error.
Apparently to meet the conditions of the extend repair program I had to have no video or something.

I have a friend with another eMac that was having the exact same kernel panics (or freezing etc)… I thought it was the same as mine, but the Apple tech said that it wasn’t – i.e. didn’t meet the guidelines of the fault. It still needed a replacement motherboard but cost the owner $$$.

Does that help?
