iBuddy – you’re favorite pal who’s fun to be with is welcomed to the Mac community!
iBuddy is a small USB figure in the form of an MSN messenger contact with butterfly wings. Its head can light up in 7 different colors, its heart can light up the wings can flap and its torso can twist, all the while drawing its power from the USB port.
The complete source code package is available on GitHub. It includes the GUI Application, Privileged helper, code less kext that works on 32 and 64 bit operating systems and a command line tool – all squeezed into one xoce project.

Work remains outstanding on the command line tool for help and/or man pages. If anyone would like to contribute in this space I’d be very keen to include updates.
